Castlewellan Gold Leylandii
Castlewellan Gold is large evergreen conifer, rich with golden yellow foliage and is very similar to the green leylandii variety, and although it grows at a slower rate than the green, it will still form a dense evergreen hedge very quickly.
It is ideal when planted for a windbreak or noise reducer and is an excellent screening option. This hedge will grow in excess of 10 metres so do give consideration to its placement prior to planting.
It will grow in sun or partial shade although its colour is more vibrant with full exposure to sun. It is a hardy evergreen which will grow in almost all soils, provided they are not waterlogged.
